 New negative headlines for the BER: Apparently in the past, managers of large construction project Siemens, Bosch and T-Systems have granted overly generous payments. The BER will investigate the allegations of corruption now.

 


 
 

During the construction of the capital airport BER officers, and German corporations are a newspaper report under suspicion of fraud. According to information provided by “Bild am Sonntag” determines the anti-corruption commissioner of the airport company for the appropriate instructions. Accordingly, BER executives are shown conspicuously generous to the companies Siemens, Bosch and the Deutsche Telekom subsidiary T-Systems and the payment of overstated invoices have instructed.

While the companies did not want to comment on this, an airport spokesman announced on request of the newspaper, “to subject all work done since the project began a repeated payments, holistic examination”. The BER was not available initially for an opinion on the report of the “Bild am Sonntag”.
